It was incredibly meaningful to have support from a local retailer like Subaru Loves to Help. Their partnership made us feel seen, valued, and uplifted as part of a community that truly cares about the well‑being of our children and families. Knowing that a local business is willing to invest in our mission reinforces that we're not doing this work alone. The coats and shoes they provided will make a profound difference for the children we serve. For many of them, these items are more than just clothing—they're a source of comfort, confidence, and dignity. This gift helps ensure that our kids can show up to school and daily activities warm, safe, and ready to learn. In addition to supporting our youth population, these coats are also distributed during the annual Point in Time count we conduct each winter. They allow us to provide warmth and essential protection to homeless individuals and families who are facing the harshest conditions of the year. For our organization, this partnership strengthens our ability to meet critical needs across the community and deepens our connection to partners who share our commitment to helping people thrive.
Thomas Automotive Subaru Bedford Hosts Lively Pet Adoption Day and Community Event! - Haylee H
This past September, Thomas Automotive Subaru in Bedford was buzzing with activity for our special pet adoption event! In the spirit of the Subaru Loves Pets commitment, we welcomed many adorable dogs and kittens from a local rescue, all ready to meet their future families. The event was a community success, featuring delicious food from the La Feight Family Concessions food truck under beautiful sunny skies. It was an incredible day where community support, great food, and the joy of finding a new best friend perfectly aligned with the Subaru Love Promise. We were thrilled to help so many sweet animals find their loving, forever homes!
Thoms Subaru Bedford Celebrates Subaru Loves Pets Month with Successful Adoption Drive - Haylee H
In celebration of Subaru Loves Pets Month this October, Thomas Subaru Bedford hosted a special pet adoption event in partnership with the Allegany County Animal Shelter. Members of our community were invited to visit the dealership to meet several adoptable dogs and cats from the shelter. We believe deeply in the Subaru Love Promise and its commitment to animal welfare. Every dog and cat available for adoption is healthy and ready for their next chapter. We encouraged everyone to join us in supporting the shelter's mission and helping these wonderful animals find their perfect, forever homes.

Thomas Subaru PA Teams Up to Support Local Community - Karen D
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Bedford, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Thomas Subaru PA is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Thomas Subaru PA have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/15/2025, Thomas Subaru PA donated 120 coats to Center Community Action of Bedford. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

We're overflowing with gratitude! We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to our Thanksgiving food drive. Your generosity and community spirit have truly warmed our hearts and will make a real difference in the lives of many this holiday season. Seeing the outpouring of support from our neighbors, friends, and local businesses was incredibly moving. Boxes filled with canned goods, bags of potatoes, and all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal poured in, demonstrating the incredible power of collective kindness. Thanks to your donations, numerous families in our community will be able to enjoy a warm and comforting Thanksgiving meal. This simple act of giving will bring joy, relief, and a sense of togetherness to those who need it most. We believe in the power of community, and your participation in this food drive reinforces that belief. We are so proud to be a part of such a caring and supportive community. Helping our community is something we hold dear. We are passionate about making a positive impact, and your contributions allow us to do just that.
